Return To Work Services Table Of Costs Update

Following recent recommendations from the Queensland Government's review of the state's workers' compensation scheme, WorkCover Queensland have updated the Return to Work Services Table of Costs 1 July 2024.

Changes include:

  • further transparency of WorkCover's alignment to the principles of practice for workplace rehabilitation providers and professional standard requirements for delivery of return to work services on Workers' Compensation claims. and professional standard requirements for delivery of return to work services on Workers' Compensation claims.
  • inclusion of an item code for Workplace Facilitated Discussions. This service aims to resolve significant barriers in the workplace and support workers and employers in their return to work efforts.
  • amendment to the descriptor for Return to Work Facilitation code.

The existing 1 July 2024 fee publication has been updated and is now available on our Fees page.
