Loveday Ryder will step down from her role as the BPDTS CEO from January 2021. To provide continuity of services and enable the transfer of employees into DWP on 1 July 2021 in line with recent Tailored Review recommendations, Rich McHugh, the current Head of Digital Operations at BPDTS, will take over as our new CEO from 1 January 2021.
Jeremy Moore, Chair of the BPDTS Board, when talking about the appointment said:
Richard was involved right at the inception of BPDTS back in 2016. I am extremely confident that he has the right skills and experience to help BPDTS thrive during the remainder of its tenure; and at the same time help DWP realise the benefits of creating a new digital function in accordance with the outcome of BPDTS's Tailored Review.
Rich McHugh, when talking about his appointment, said:
I'm delighted to take on the role of CEO during what is a vital time for the company. I look forward to working with DWP to create a new digital function that builds on our and DWP Digital's successes. I'm determined to ensure the transfer into the department is a smooth one for the talented group of people we have working for us.
Jeremy Moore, added:
