Richmond Recreation Centre 50m Pool Heater Works

Richmond Recreation Centre 50m pool and pool hall temperature will be impacted by pool heater maintenance from Monday 22 July to Wednesday 24 July.

The 50m pool heater is scheduled for major maintenance from Monday 22 July to Tuesday 23 July.

During this period, the heater will be switched off causing the 50m pool temperature to slowly decrease.

The 50m pool and all other facilities will remain open to the public, however, the air temperatures in the pool hall and aquatic change rooms will be lower than usual.

The dry change rooms will be available for use by aquatic users while the works take place.

The toddler pool and spa water temperatures will not be affected.

What happens to Aqua/Deep Water Running classes?

All Aqua and Deep Water Running group exercise classes at Richmond Recreation Centre will be cancelled on Tuesday 23 July and Wednesday 24 July.

Will I receive a credit for my cancelled swimming lesson?

Learn to Swim infant classes held in the toddler pool at Richmond will continue as usual during this period.

All scheduled Learn to Swim classes held in the main pool at Richmond on Monday 22 July and Wednesday 24 July will continue as usual.

All scheduled Learn to Swim classes held in the main pool at Richmond will not take place on Tuesday 23 July.

A credit will be automatically applied to your account for any cancelled classes during this period.
