A motorcycle rider has died following a crash in the state's Central West today.
About 9.40am (Sunday 29 November 2020), emergency services were called to Banjo Patterson Way, Cumnock – about 47km north-west of Orange – following reports a motorcycle and a Ford Kuga had collided.
Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District attended, along with NSW Ambulance paramedics.
Despite efforts to revive the male rider, he died at the scene.
The female driver of the Ford was taken to Molong Hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash continue.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
