- Construction is underway at the site of the new Ripley Ambulance Station destined to service the growing local community.
- The new $10.9 million ambulance station is located at 399-409 Ripley Road, Ripley with practical completion expected in early 2024.
The new Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) station will include a purpose-built home for the West Moreton District Office, which will relocate to Ripley from its current base at the Ipswich Ambulance Station.
Construction will include a modern fit for purpose ambulance station with office and write up space, a charge area, breakout and locker rooms and a multi-function rest, study and training room.
The new purpose-built state-of-the-art facility suited to the delivery of a modern service providing local officers a comfortable and effective base to service the community.
The new ambulance station will be staffed by one officer-in-charge and 16 paramedics, to deliver 24/7 operational ambulance services to the growing community.
It will also house a 10-bay ambulance vehicle plant room with storage area and additional covered parked for non-acute vehicles.
