Council would like to advise that the Taggerty-Thornton Road is closed between Taggerty and Thornton due to emergency electricity powerline works southwest of Rubicon Road. CFA and SES crews are onsite.
Avoid the area and seek an alternate route via Maroondah Highway and/or Goulburn Valley Highway.
Closure will likely be in place for a couple of hours, keep up to date via the VicTraffic website.
