City of Greater Geelong CEO Ali Wastie
Saturday night promises to captivate locals and visitors. The City of Greater Geelong is proud to partner with Denis Walter to deliver the family friendly 'Christmas Opening Night - Denis Walter Carols by the Bay' event.
To ensure the that the event runs smoothly, there will be changed traffic conditions.
We ask that community members plan ahead, follow detours and respect staff operating the road closures.
As the Floating Christmas Tree is switched on at 9.15pm, there will be low-level pyrotechnics lasting two minutes.
We recommend community members bring their pets indoors or keep them in a secure location on the night, to keep them safe.
