Kempsey Shire Council is currently undertaking an assessment of our network of unsealed roads.
The information gained from this will enable better management of the road network whilst also providing important information in relation to the maintenance schedule.
These activities will be done by Council's inspection contractor, Infrastructure Management Group.
You may observe camera equipment and transportation vehicles on your road during this time. Please note that all cameras are focused on the road surface and no images of commercial, residential or private property will be undertaken.
Surveying is estimated to take approximately 2 weeks to complete and is vital to gain to help better the unsealed road network across the Kempsey Shire.
Vehicles will be clearly labelled as a surveillance car and we ask when following these vehicles, please keep a car length between yourself and the surveillance car to provide the rear camera with clear view of the road surface.
