Greater Shepparton City Council wishes to advise of upcoming road resurfacing works scheduled in Dookie.
The works are scheduled for several streets in the town, including:
- McDonald Street (Mary Street to north of Dookie Street – end of sealed road)
- Dookie Street (McDonald Street to Marie Street)
- Nixon Street (Dookie Street to Williamson Street)
- Baldock Street (South of the railway line to the Recreation Reserve entrance)
The works will be undertaken between Wednesday 31 January and Friday 2 February 2024, between the hours of 7am to 6pm, weather permitting.
Access to businesses and residences will be maintained however traffic management will be in place during the works. Delays are to be expected.
Council requests that residents, motorists and pedestrians take additional care when travelling in the area during these works.
