Robbery With Violence At Maryborough

Police are appealing for information following a robbery with violence at an address in Maryborough on Friday, October 11.

Initial information indicates about 5.40pm, two males have allegedly entered a property on Walker Street, before threatening a woman with what is believed to be a firearm and assaulting her.

The two males have then left the property on foot.

A woman in her 60s received minor injuries from the incident, but did not require transport to hospital.

Police are appealing to drivers or witnesses who were travelling in the vicinity of Walker Street and Ariadne Street between 5.10pm and 5.40pm, who may have seen two males walking in the area to come forward.

The males are described as Caucasian, with proportionate builds.

One man was wearing light coloured clothing and the other man was wearing dark coloured clothing with a white baseball cap.

Anyone with information, or vision that could assist investigations, is urged to contact police.
