The Resources Victoria Approvals Coordination (RVAC) unit continues to develop ways to drive investment in the state's resources sector.
In a national first, RVAC has launched the Statewide Reserve Inventory, a comprehensive assessment of quarry reserves that will help forecast the availability of raw materials more accurately than previously possible.
The Statewide Reserve Inventory will help investment decision making for industry and allow for targeted quarry approvals case management where they are most needed.
As production and approvals change the level of reserves at individual sites, the database will be updated in real time through active engagement with the sector.
Deidentified data from the Statewide Reserve Inventory has now been made publicly available on our website.
