Rockdale Dentist Charged With Sexual Touching Offences

A dental practitioner has been charged over the alleged sex-related assault of a woman in Sydney's south last week.

On Tuesday 10 September 2024, officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Command received a report that a woman had allegedly been sexually touched during a job trial at a dental centre in Rockdale.

Following extensive inquiries, investigators attached to St George Police Area Command executed a crime scene warrant at a business on Bay Street, Rockdale, about 12.45pm on Thursday 19 September 2024.

A 60-year-old man was arrested and taken to St George Police Station, where he was charged with cause to take intoxicating substance to commit indictable offence and aggravated sexually touch another person.

He was refused bail to appear before Sutherland Local Court on Friday 20 September 2024, where he was formally refused bail to appear before Downing Centre Local on Tuesday 19 November 2024.
