About 1.45pm, a yellow and white Suzuki motorcycle and white Toyota Prado station wagon, collided on Rockingham Beach Road near Weld Street.
The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 30s, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
The female driver and occupants of the Toyota Prado were not injured.
