Roof Takes Shape At Greater Beveridge Community Centre

Construction is progressing well at the Greater Beveridge Community Centre, with major milestones in the roofing stage now underway.

Roof truss installation is underway, followed by roof plumbing and sheeting. Once the roof is complete, work can begin under cover, allowing for the rough-in of mechanical, electrical and plumbing services from mid-April.

The expansion of the Greater Beveridge Community Centre is being delivered through a $3.97 million investment from the Victorian Government and is designed to meet the growing needs of the local community.

The project includes the addition of two new kindergarten rooms, a minor expansion of the outdoor play space, and landscaping works to ensure the facility remains accessible and welcoming for all.

This upgrade will provide increased kindergarten places, aligning with the rollout of funded kindergarten for three-year-olds and giving more local children access to two years of high-quality early education.

The project remains on track to be operational in early 2026.
