Whether it's an inspiring arts project, a sporting initiative to bring people together, or an event that will leave a lasting impression, Kempsey Shire Council's Community Grants Program is here to help make your vision a reality! From cultural celebrations to grassroots sports and everything in between, we want to hear your ideas.

Kempsey Shire Council is proud to announce that Round 2 of the 2024/25 Community Grants Program is opening soon, with funding available across five categories:

  • Community Projects Fund: For initiatives that build connections and enhance local neighbourhoods.
  • Sporting Fund: Supporting clubs and activities that encourage active lifestyles.
  • Creative Macleay Fund: Fostering innovation in the arts and cultural scene.
  • NAIDOC Week Micro Grants: Honouring and celebrating the culture, history, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

  • Grants Open: 4 February 2025
  • Grants Close: 5 March 2025
  • Funding Announcement: End of April 2025

Funding is allocated through a competitive application process, and all applicants must meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the Community Grants Guidelines 2024/25.
