With tickets for Saturday's Gala Concert at the Roxy sold out, Council is pleased to announce that the event will also be livestreamed digitally.
This will enable those that missed out on tickets, or who are unable to attend the concert in person, to view the concert live and for free from the comfort of their own home.
The livestream can be accessed on Vimeo via your preferred multimedia device (e.g., phone, computer or smart TV) from 7.00pm on Saturday, 1 March 2025, and will cover the event from five different camera angles, enabling a fully immersive concert experience.
We will do our very best to livestream the event however if the stream is interrupted due to issues out of our control, Council is pleased to share that copies of the concert will be available for sale in the near future.
Manager Cultural Services, Emma Di Muzio, said the livestream will be a great alternative for locals who missed out on tickets and will give avid Roxy enthusiasts and past Leetonians scattered around the country the opportunity to rekindle their connection with our historic theatre.
"Demand for tickets was always going to outstrip supply so we are excited to bring this concert to our community and beyond - live - utilising the latest streaming technology.
"We are looking forward to enjoying an historic evening with our community and all key project stakeholders that will officially mark the completion of the Roxy redevelopment project – Stage 1," she said.
