RSH CEO offers condolences for Lord Kerslake's passing

Following the death of Lord Bob Kerslake, Fiona MacGregor expressed her condolences:

I was saddened to learn of the death on Saturday of Lord Bob Kerslake.

Lord Kerslake was the first CEO of the Homes and Communities Agency in 2008 and later permanent secretary at the then Department for Communities and Local Government. He maintained a strong and lasting focus on housing including most recently as chair of Peabody.

He was always fully engaged, no matter what the subject matter, and he consistently gave so generously of his time, wisdom and insights to so many. He will be sorely missed across the housing sector.

I extend my condolences, and those of everyone at the Regulator of Social Housing, to his family and to his many friends and colleagues.
