Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke with Beninese Foreign Minister Olushegun Adjadi Bakari today. The Secretary underscored the importance of the U.S.-Benin relationship and expressed appreciation for Benin's cooperation on regional security. The Secretary and the Foreign Minister also discussed shared priorities, including strengthening democratic governance and promoting stability in West Africa.
