SA Women Of Impact Awards Nominations Open

SA Gov

South Australians are being called on to recognise, celebrate and elevate the women who are driving change, breaking barriers and strengthening our communities every single day.

Following the momentum of last month's SA Women's Week, the South Australian Women of Impact Awards are now open, shining a powerful spotlight on the leadership, resilience and contribution of women across our state.

These Awards recognise women whose efforts are not always seen, they are a statement of values and reinforce the importance of backing women, amplifying their voices, and ensuring their contributions are respected and celebrated.

The Awards recognise women creating meaningful and lasting change across four categories:

  • Impact in Industry Award – women making a positive impact in their industry.
  • Impact in the Community Award – women making a positive impact in their community.
  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Impact Award – First Nations Women advocating for their community.
  • Ending Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV) Impact Award – women dedicated to ending DFSV in South Australia.

The categories aim to encourage nominations from diverse groups within the South Australian community to recognise and raise the profile of the outstanding service and the significant contributions across all areas.

Nominations for the South Australian Women of Impact Awards are open until 15 June 2026 and can be made through the South Australian Women of Impact Awards website https://officeforwomen.sa.gov.au/WOI-Awards.

As put by Minister for Women Katrine Hildyard

The 2026 South Australian Women of Impact Awards are a celebration of the extraordinary contribution women make to our economy and to every part of our community.

Across South Australia, women are leading change, breaking barriers and lifting others up, sometimes without the recognition they deserve. These are the women we hope will inspire the next generation to give back to their communities and to pursue their goals in ways that make a lasting difference.

If you know a colleague, leader, mentor, advocate or volunteer who is making impactful change, please nominate her!
