  • 'Western Australia Dream Sale' live across the country
  • $3.5 million WA tourism marketing blitz aimed at attracting interstate travellers
  • Includes discounted airfares, deals and $25,000 of potential extras for customers

The WA Government has launched a major $3.5 million marketing blitz to attract travellers from Australia's east coast, in partnership with local industry.

The $3.5 million 'Western Australia Dream Sale' offers discounted travel deals, including a flight sale with Webjet offering up to $100 off airfares to all five of WA's tourism regions along with Perth.

Travellers can get to Perth from as little as $62 from Adelaide, $81 from Brisbane, $106 from Melbourne and $126 from Sydney.

The sale features a range of offers from WA tourism businesses, including discounts on experiences and accommodation right around the State after industry was invited to take part in the domestic sale.

To further boost local tour and experience bookings, the WA Government is offering $25,000 worth of extras to customers who book an experience through the sale and submit their booking details on westernaustralia.com for a chance to win their experience for free.

The sale also includes a major cooperative partnership campaign with Helloworld Travel, which will see over 200 Helloworld retail outlets across Australia transformed with WA-themed store decals and digital screens, ensuring the sale is front and centre for travel agents and customers.

In the year ending June 2024, WA welcomed 1.8 million interstate visitors who spent $3.4 billion.

This sale is set to build on this momentum, providing an immediate boost to bookings and longer-term certainty for visitor numbers and spend into the first half of 2025.
