Ballina Shire Council is reminding motorists to drive safely as king tides are likely to cause minor flooding of some local roads this week.
The first king tide will occur tonight, Tuesday 14 June, and is predicted to peak at 1.97m at around 8.30pm. A king tide of 2m is expected on Wednesday night at 9.20pm. The king tides will then continue overnight throughout the week until Sunday 19 June. For the full details visit bom.gov.au/australia/tides/#!/nsw-ballina
