Today, Administrator Samantha Power met with Israel's Ambassador to the United States Michael Herzog to discuss the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Administrator Power emphasized strong concerns about humanitarian conditions in Gaza. They spoke about steps that the Government of Israel has taken to improve the provision of humanitarian assistance, and the importance of additional steps and commitments from Israel to significantly and urgently accelerate the flow and delivery of food aid and other assistance to Palestinian civilians throughout Gaza.
