- Samsung has launched a new 6GB DRAM chip, which adds weight to the rumor that the Galaxy Note 6 will feature a whopping 6GB RAM, the Irish Examiner said.
At its Mobile Solution Forum in China, Samsung announced the DRAM chip. Of course, its announcement doesn’t necessarily mean that it will be added to the Galaxy Note 6, but there is a good chance of it, the Examiner said.
The Galaxy Note 5 featured more RAM than the Galaxy S6, so it seems likely that the Note 6 will be an upgrade on the 4GB found in the Galaxy Note 7, the news website says.
The upcoming Galaxy Note 6 is also rumored to feature a 5.8-inch QHD screen, a 2.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 823 processor and a 4,200mAh battery. It’s expected that the device will be unveiled in August, so we’ll find out for sure then.
