Albuquerque, N.M. - Sandia National Laboratories aims to inspire young minds at the Cochiti Pueblo by hosting a day filled with learning and exploration of science, technology, engineering and math.

The event is part of the Labs' ongoing efforts to inspire Native American youth to pursue further education and careers in STEM fields, potentially leading to future opportunities at Sandia.
The day will feature a range of activities for elementary and middle school-aged students, including:
- Ozobots
- Robotic Dog Gizmo
- Snap Circuits
- Bernoulli's equation
- Engineering with marshmallows and spaghetti
- Lava lamps
- Water quality biomonitoring
- Infrared imaging
- Studying wildfires
- Solar system investigation
In addition, Colorado State University will bring its Little Shop of Physics trailer, while Los Alamos National Laboratory will bring its Challenge Tomorrow trailer, offering an interactive lab-inspired experience. Inside, students can engage in hands-on STEM activities and learn about various careers from Volunteer Challenge Ambassadors who will share insights into their work at the lab.
