A man has been charged with speeding and deception offences after being intercepted by Horsham Highway Patrol officers on the Western Highway at Kaniva yesterday, Victoria Police say.
The 27-year-old man from the United Kingdom was intercepted travelling at 40km/h over the speed limit just after midday on Saturday 16 June.
The man was also charged with obtain financial advantage by deception after allegedly agreeing to carry out work for victims but failed to do so.
He has been remanded to appear at the Horsham Magistrates’ Court on Monday 18 June and is expected to be further remanded to the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
