Looking to keep the kids busy these school holidays? Council's got you covered with the April School Holiday Guide now available.
Acting Mayor Ann-Maree Greaney said the 32-page publication was a must have for parents heading into the two-week Easter School Holiday break.
"We're thrilled to launch our April edition for Council's School Holiday Guide, both in a physical hard copy and a digital version with all the best boredom busters to keep the 'mum, dad I'm boreddd' at bay these school holidays," Cr Greaney said.
"With more than 30 pages of low and no cost activities there really is something for everyone, from the teeny tots, all the way up to teenagers.
"From a bundle of free activities like Easter-themed crafts at Citylibraries, a free martial arts class at Choi Kwang Do, to low-cost fun like a half-day gymnastics camp at Momentum gymnastics, or $10 barefoot bowls - there's something to tickle everyone's fancy."
Councillor Greaney said not only was the School Holiday Guide a great was to keep the boredom blues at bay over the holiday break, but it gave local organisations and businesses the opportunity to get their events out there.
Local mother Paris Shaw said she was excited to find a publication that was a one-stop shop when it came to school holiday activities.
"My daughter loves arts and crafts so I'm really excited to lean into some of the activities held at Citylibraries over the break, like the Easter Eggstravaganza and Crafty Creations," Mrs Shaw said.
"The Guide makes planning the holidays a breeze and has symbols beside each activity telling you if it's suited to early-childhood, primary, youth or all ages."
Printed copies of the School Holiday Guide will be available at Citylibraries Aitkenvale, Riverway and Flinders Street from today (Monday 31 March). Copies will also be available at the Visitor Information Centre in Flinders Square, the Community Information Centre in Flinders Street and at Council's SERVE Centre located at 103 Walker Street.
