City of Darwin will run a series of free activities to keep children, young people and families entertained during the upcoming school holidays.
City of Darwin's school holiday program runs from Monday 24 June until Saturday 13 July 2024 and features a range of events across the municipality.
Lord Mayor Kon Vatskalis said the dry season was the perfect time to enjoy the free outdoor activities on offer.
"We are excited to offer a variety of fun activities for children during the school holidays and there really is something for everyone," Mr Vatskalis said.
"There are a range of educational workshops available, including a first aid course with St John's Ambulance, soccer ball tricks, café skills, tie-dying and writing workshops.
"Our fantastic libraries will also host a range of activities for discovery and learning, including family story time events, movie sessions and Lego Club, which promises to challenge and engage young minds.
