Scooter Rider Injured In Car Crash At Glenwood

A boy has been injured in a car crash while riding his scooter in Sydney's north-west today.

About 4.40pm on Wednesday (4 September 2024), emergency services were called to McMahon Grove, Glenwood, following reports of a two-vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, officers attached to Riverstone Police Area Command were told a scooter and a red Corolla hatchback collided.

The rider - an 11-year-old boy - was taken to The Children's Hospital at Westmead in a stable condition.

The driver - a 39-year-old woman - was subjected to a roadside breath test, which returned a negative result.
