Screen Queensland has revealed new panellists for In the Frame: Screen Queensland Practitioners Forum on Wednesday 21 August.

Industry luminaries including filmmaker, producer and actor Leah Purcell, Screen Australia CEO Deirdre Brennan and Head of Stan Originals, Amanda Duthie are confirmed to join creator of hit series Fake, Anya Beyersdorf and actor and producer Miranda Otto at the State Library of Queensland.

The one-day practitioner event applies a local lens to screen production and will also welcome online sensations The Macfarlane Brothers, Sundance Festival Grand Jury Prize winner Camilla Mazzaferro (Finch No Worries, Porcelain), SBS/NITV's Tanya Denning-Orman and many more.

For the first time, the one-day industry event will be livestreamed across the country from Brisbane.

Screen Queensland CEO Jacqui Feeney said that In the Frame reflects the ambition the agency holds for local practitioners and production companies.

"This event presents a vital opportunity to unpack how we can collectively grow our vision, capacity and capability to bring more homegrown stories to more screens.

"In the Frame offers a program of provocative panels and insightful conversations with some of the screen sector's experienced, astute and inspiring talents, who will explore how we can create new pathways for local practitioners with unique stories, to help them harness their potential and reach a wider audience.

"I encourage emerging and mid-career screen practitioners to take advantage of this accessible opportunity to hear from some of the leading lights of the industry about building enduring careers, while expanding their own experience and forging new connections."

In the Frame: Screen Queensland Practitioners Forum tickets are $65 (plus booking fee) including lunch and networking refreshments, with livestream tickets also available for $25 (plus booking fee).
