Kempsey Shire Council

Calling all Australian artists—your chance to showcase your creativity in one of the most picturesque locations on the Mid North Coast has arrived! The 'Sculptures Rock' prize, with a generous prize pool exceeding $16,000, is set to become a highlight of the regional arts calendar.

The South West Rocks Community Art Gallery, in collaboration with Rotary South West Rocks and Macleay Valley Coast, is proud to present the first annual 'Sculptures Rock' sculpture prize.

This event builds upon the success of Sculpture in the Gaol, a much-loved event. Sculptures Rock will be taking on a fresh identity and a breathtaking new location. Allowing for a world-class art exhibition.

With the sparkling beaches of South West Rocks as a backdrop, artists from across Australia are invited to compete in this prestigious event.

The event has always been an important one on the regional arts calendar, while supporting increased visitation to the Macleay Valley. It is envisaged that it will be even more popular in the new location and format.
