The NSW Nationals Central Executive has officially endorsed Sean Gleeson as the candidate for the upcoming Port Macquarie by-election on March 15.
Sean and his wife Jody have lived in the Hannam Vale area for over 15 years. He runs beef cattle farms which have been in the family for generations.
The pair is heavily involved in Ag Shows NSW and Sean was President of the Camden Haven Pastoral, Agricultural, Horticultural and Industrial Society for six years.
Born and raised in regional NSW, Sean understands what residents, families, and businesses in and around Port Macquarie need.
He is committed to working tirelessly as a voice for the region on key issues including crime, demand for housing, and the much-needed traffic improvements required for a booming city and region.
Since its inception in 1988, the electorate has been represented by National Party MPs between 1988-2002 and 2011-2020 and we are determined to continue that long and proud history.
The NSW Nationals always fight for the best interests of the regions and Port Macquarie remains a crucial part of that.
