Police have launched a search and rescue to locate a 17-year-old girl missing from Robina since yesterday morning, November 19.
The girl (pictured) was last seen around 8.30am on Bayberry Lane and has not been seen or heard from since.
She is described as Caucasian, approximately 178cm tall with blonde hair and green eyes.
Family and police have concerns for her welfare as she has a medical condition.
A land search and rescue is underway in the Carrara area with assistance from SES crews and members of the public.
A command post has been set up at the AFL ground along Nielsens Road, Carrara. Any members of the public who want to assist with search efforts are requested to meet there.
Police are appealing to the girl, or anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to immediately come forward.
