Police have commenced a search and rescue operation for a 56-year-old man missing from Ipswich, since February 7.
Geoffrey Clout was last seen between February 7 and 9 at his home address in Raceview but has not been seen or heard from since.
His vehicle, a 2010 white Toyota Hilux bearing Queensland registration 534KM9, was located in a public carpark at the Flinders Peak reserve on February 13.
A search of the reserve and surrounds was commenced in the daylight hours of February 13 utilising the assistance of POLAIR but was terminated due to failing light. Police will recommence the search this morning, February 14 and will utilise the SES to assist in in the operation.
Geoffrey is described as Caucasian, approximately 173cm tall, with shaven brown hair and blue eyes.
It is unknown what Geoffrey was wearing prior to him going missing.
Police are appealing to Geoffrey or anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to come forward.
