Search continues for man missing in floodwaters - Murrumbidgee

Police have resumed the search to locate a man believed to be missing in floodwaters in the state's west.

The 63-year-old man was last seen on a rural property on Lachlan Valley Way, Hillston, about 12pm on Tuesday (11 October 2022), when he told a friend he would return shortly.

When he did not return several hours later, police were notified and commenced a search operation at the property.

The coordinated search involves officers from Murrumbidgee Police District, PolAir, Police Rescue, NSW SES, and NSW Ambulance.

The search continued yesterday with no find, and resumed again this morning (Thursday 13 October 2022), focusing on the property and Lachlan River.
