The search continues for a missing man last seen in Gunnamatta surf beach waters off Truemans Road in Fingal on Friday, 6 January.
Investigators have been told the 20-year-old North Melbourne man was last seen wearing navy blue shorts and black, grey and green goggles.
Emergency services responded after two men and a teenager got into difficulty in the surf about 6.45pm on 6 January.
A man and a teenage boy were rescued as part of a multi-agency operation.
They were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The second man remains unaccounted for.
Emergency Services are continuing to search for the man.
