Police are currently coordinating a search for a man missing near Maidenwell, Queensland Police say.
Officers were called to the Coomba Falls around 2.15pm after a man at the waterhole jumped from a rock into the water and failed to resurface.
A preliminary search has been conducted by police and other emergency services but has failed to locate the man.
Police will guard the scene overnight and resume the search in the morning.
