Search Man Who Escaped Police Custody At Bankstown

Police are appealing for information to locate a man who allegedly escaped police custody in Sydney's south west this morning.

Mulla Altinok, aged 28, was last seen on Meredith Street, Bankstown about 6.30am today (Saturday 28 September 2024).

Officers attached to Bankstown Police Local Area Command have commenced an investigation and conducting inquiries to locate him.

Mulla is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 165cm tall, solid build, shaved head and numerous tattoos on his upper body.

He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved top with a white collar, grey tracksuit pants and no shoes.

Anyone who sees Mulla is urged not to approach him but to contact Triple Zero (000) immediately.
