Search operation at Carina

Brisbane Dive Squad officers conducting a search yesterday afternoon (December 7) as part of the investigation into missing person 22-year-old Joshua Mou, located an unidentified bone in the Bulimba Creek at Carina.

Forensic examinations are underway to determine if the bone is human.

A search of the area is continuing today (December 8).

22-year-old Joshua Mou was last seen in Sunnybank on January 11, 2022. It is believed he has then travelled by bus to Baynes Street at Carindale and he has not been seen or heard from since.

Following extensive investigations, various searches have occurred of surrounding areas in the months since his disappearance.

Investigations are ongoing to determine whether the circumstances of his disappearance are suspicious.

Police continue to urge anyone with information regarding Joshua's whereabouts to immediately contact police.
