Search Resumes For Man Missing In Murrumbidgee River

A search has resumed for a man reported missing in the Murrumbidgee River in the state's south yesterday.

About 5:15pm (Sunday 3 November 2024), emergency services were called to Middle Beach, Yanco, following reports a 32-year-old man was missing in the Murrumbidgee River.

Officers attached to Murrumbidgee Police District – with the assistance of NSW Ambulance, SES and the Volunteer Rescue Association – conducted an extensive search but were unsuccessful in locating the man.

The search was suspended about 8pm due to darkness and dangerous river conditions.

The search resumed at 7.30am today (Monday 4 November 2024).
