Second Aid Convoy Offers Hope to Millions in Gaza: UN

The United Nations

Additional aid has arrived in Gaza, with 14 trucks passing through the Rafah crossing from southern Egypt, the UN Humanitarian Affairs Coordinator said on Sunday.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Martin Griffiths described the supplies provided by the Egyptian Red Cross and the UN as "another glimmer of hope for the millions of people in dire need of humanitarian aid", adding "but they need more, much more."

Saturday marked the first convoy to enter Gaza, where supplies of food, water, fuel and medicines are running low since the start of the current crisis on 7 October.

More details to follow on this developing story.
