Police have charged a second man following a fight on the state’s North Coast last month, NSW Police say.
Shortly after 3am on Sunday 3 April 2016, a 38-year-old man and 22-year-old man were involved in an argument outside a licensed premises on Grafton Street, Coffs Harbour.
The 38-year-old man grabbed the younger man and pushed him, before the two men were separated by security staff.
Police have been told the two men then crossed the road and began to fight.
The 38-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus.
He suffered fractures to his eye socket and underwent surgery to have his eye removed.
Earlier today, today, the 38-year-old man attended Coffs Harbour Police Station where he was arrested and charged with common assault and affray.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court on Monday 30 May 2016.
On 4 April 2016, the 22-year-old man was arrested and taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station where he was charged with reckless grievous bodily harm and affray.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court on Monday 11 July 2016.
