Second Person Dies After Collision In Allans Flat

A second person has died following a collision in Allans Flat on 10 July.

It is understood a grey Ford Falcon sedan collided with a utility towing a trailer on Wodonga-Yackandandah Road around 2pm.

The utility left the road and crashed down an embankment.

The driver of the Ford Falcon, an 18-year-old West Wodonga man, died at the scene.

The passenger of the Ford, a 17-year-old Myrtleford girl, was airlifted with life-threatening injuries but has died in hospital.

The driver of the utility, a 58-year-old West Wodonga woman, was taken to hospital in a critical condition.

The passenger, a 19-year-old Allans Flat man, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the collision.
