Secretary General Marija Pejčinović Burić has met with Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine, Iryna Mudra. During the meeting the Secretary General expressed full support for the country and solidarity with its people for their extraordinary resilience and underlined the relevance of the proposal to establish a register to record and document evidence and claims of damage, loss, or injury because of the Russian aggression against Ukraine.
Discussions also focused on how the Council of Europe can play a key role in ensuring comprehensive accountability in relation to Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
