Seeking Members for Aboriginal Heritage Advisory

The Western Australian Government invites passionate and experienced individuals to play a pivotal role by providing advice on Aboriginal cultural heritage across the State.

The Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Committee provides guidance under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 1972, encouraging the management of Western Australia's rich Aboriginal heritage.

The Committee is looking to fill five positions that will become vacant in July 2025. Individuals with strong experience in Aboriginal culture and heritage are urged to nominate for a place on the Committee. Specialists with experience in anthropology, archaeology and engineering are particularly encouraged to apply, as are those with lived experience of Aboriginal culture and heritage.
