Seeking Volunteers: Help Run 2024 Bald Archy Prize

Bald Archy Prize 2024

After a successful revival in 2023, Australia's premier satirical art competition The Bald Archy Prize, is returning to the Corowa Art Space. The Bald Archy Prize now in its 28th year, will be open daily from Saturday 7th September until Sunday 6th October.

The 2023 Bald Archy Prize at Corowa Art Space was a great success with the help of a team of over 30 volunteers. The team oversaw 1,051 adult visitors and 55 youth visitors who travelled from over 90 different suburbs, some hailing from as far as Tasmania, Western Australia, Queensland and New Zealand.

Council is currently seeking volunteers to sit for the duration of the upcoming exhibition. Four volunteers are needed each week day. Two in the morning from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm and two in afternoon from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm. The weekend consists of one shift, from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm.

As a special thank you to the dedicated volunteers who play a vital role in making this exhibition possible, they will be treated to an exclusive preview event of the exhibition, giving them a behind-the-scenes look at the artworks before they are unveiled to the general public.
