A woman has lost her licence after being caught drink driving at Bridgewater tonight.
Just after 6.30pm on Friday 9 April, patrols were called to Anzac Ridge Road after a concerned member of public called police to report a Toyota 4WD crossing over onto the incorrect side of the road.
The driver was followed to Bridgewater Oval where the member of the public used their vehicle to block the 4WD in but the woman drove off along Mount Barker Road before pulling into a nearby service station.
Patrols arrived a shortly after and breath tested her. She returned an alleged blood alcohol reading of 0.210 - more than four times the legal limit.
The 57-year-old from Strathalbyn, has been reported for drink driving and issued with a 12 month immediate loss of licence.
She will be summonsed to appear in court at a date to be set.
