The Programme and Project Partners at Sellafield has been listed as one of the UK's top inclusive employers.
The annual Top 100 Inclusive UK Employers Index, published by the National Centre for Diversity, recognises organisations that have demonstrated their commitment to building inclusive cultures.
The Programme and Project Partners (PPP) is a 20-year partnership created to drive collaboration and change the way major projects are delivered at Sellafield.
Duncan Elliott, managing director of PPP, said:
I'm delighted the National Centre for Diversity has recognised us again. I'd like to thank everyone involved in this recognition.
Our people are at the heart of everything we do. It's important that we promote a culture where everyone feels welcome and valued.
As a partnership made up of so many organisations, creating an inclusive place to work is one of the most important things we can do.
Solat Chaudhry, chief executive of the National Centre for Diversity, said:
I send my warmest congratulations to the Programme and Project Partners on successfully reaching number 43 in the Top 100 Inclusive UK Employers Index 2024.
The inspiring organisations that make the Top 100, demonstrate excellent levels of employee retention and recruitment and clearly demonstrate how they value and respect the people that work for them.
In 2023, the partnership became the first in the nuclear industry to be accredited as an investor in diversity by the National Centre for Diversity.
Earlier this year, it also won a prestigious Diversity and Inclusion Award from the Government's Infrastructure and Projects Authority.
