Seniors Celebrate 4 Years with Dance and Dinner

Odyssey Lifestyle Care Communities

Odyssey Lifestyle Care Communities recently celebrated a significant milestone in style, marking its fourth birthday with an evening full of fun, fantastic food and groovy dance moves.

Residents, staff and special guests gathered for an unforgettable soiree, celebrating four years of laughter, care and living life to the fullest.

The night kicked off with a grand dinner with the Odyssey chefs serving a sumptuous feast before the restaurant was transformed into a dazzling dance hall with live entertainment.

Odyssey CEO and founder Phil Usher says events such as this, where the community comes together and shines, are truly rewarding.

"The entire Odyssey community enjoyed a dinner dance soiree where our residents and team were suited and booted and dressed to the nines," says Mr Usher.

"We wanted our fourth birthday to be a night to remember, and it was certainly that and we look forward to many more years of dancing, dining and delightful moments.

"Seeing our residents and staff have fun on the dance floor and enjoy each other's company is a beautiful demonstration of the ethos that defines our community."

Mr Usher says over the past four years, Odyssey has been an inspiration within the industry and successfully provided a refreshing approach to what most people think aged care is.

"Odyssey leads with a heart-centred approach, blending the best of retirement living and aged care into what we proudly call a lifestyle care community," says Mr Usher.

"This unique model ensures our residents enjoy the perfect balance of independence and support while their comfort and dignity remain top priority."

The Odyssey model is built around a resort style environment where couples stay together, pets are welcome, grandkids can have sleepovers and most importantly, the dignity, independence and wellbeing of residents are highly respected.
