Uncover services, activities and residential options for yourself or your loved ones at this year's Seniors Lifestyle Expo on Tuesday 20 August 2024.
The expo will attract a capacity crowd at Townsville Stadium, Annandale, filling the venue with stalls from local businesses and organisations showcasing their products and services.
The Seniors Lifestyle Expo will also have a fun and fresh garden party theme, with attendees encouraged to dress up in florals and embrace the bright and fun theme of the event.
Councillor Vera Dirou said the event was a great chance for Townsville's senior citizens to see what's on offer for them.
"When you head down to the Seniors Lifestyle Expo on Tuesday you'll be able to find out what's available for our city's senior citizens, including information on aged care, retirement living, health care and financial services," Cr Dirou said.
"There's also plenty of fun to find out about, including groups and organisations that run social events across the city.
"It's a full house this year with plenty of stalls and information to visit, so make sure you head down, grab a free cup of tea or coffee and make the most of this great free event."
The free Seniors Luncheon will be held at Townsville Stadium later next week, drawing crowds to the Annandale venue on Thursday 22 August and Friday 23 August.
Tickets are sold out to the popular event, which will include lunch and entertainment for Townsville residents over 65 years of age.
