Mornington Peninsula Shire's much-loved Seniors Festival – part of Victoria's state-wide Seniors Festival - is set to return to our coast, townships and hinterland this October.
Running for the entire month, the festival honours the contribution and celebrates the diversity of people 55+ years.
This year, we've curated a diverse program of events reflecting the Seniors Festival 2024 theme of 'Explore. Engage. Evolve.'
To support local organisations to deliver their own unique events, the Shire has provided funds to all eligible community groups. In addition, we are also providing free transport to two major events:
- The Get Active Expo at the YMCA's Camp Manyung in Mount Eliza, 4 October
- The Piano Men -The Songs of Elton John and Billy Joel performance at George Jenkins Theatre, Frankston 26 October
Our Seniors Festival 2024 event guide is packed full of all the activities and events being hosted by local clubs, organisations and Shire services. Copies are available at our customer support centres, community centres and libraries or you can view and download the guide online.
Save the date!
Bookings for all Seniors Festival events and activities will open to Mornington Peninsula residents on Tuesday 17 September 2024 at 10am.
